Saturday, April 18 starting at 10 am Canal Clean Sweep. Come and help clean up along the Original Erie Canal in Canastota. Meet at the Canal Town Education Center 110 Canal Street, Canastota NY 13032

Wednesday, May 6 Ross Stagnitti at the Canastota Public Library (Children's Room) presenting:

"Tales from Yesterday's Canastota". This is a round table conversation with life long residents of Canastota come and share your stories.

Wednesday, May 13 Opening for the season the Canastota Canal Town Museum (Wednesday-Saturday 12 noon to 3PM)

Sunday, June 14 the Boxing Hall of Fame weekend, Parade at Noon on Peterboro Street.

Come see the Watson wagon 

July 13-17 Cycle the Erie Canal, a bicycle tour from Buffalo to Albany. Passing through Canastota on the 16th, the bicyclists are usually passing through town early morning thru lunch time. Stop at the Museum and meet the riders(toddlers to senior) from all over the Country.

Saturday, August 1st Old Home Day in Whitelaw. 12 noon-Parade, BBQ ending with the Erick D. Stevens Memorial Fireworks.

Saturday, August 15 Italian American Festival on Canal Street 11AM-6PM

Wednesday, October 14-Annual Canal Town Diner and Meeting at Theodore’s Resturant, Seneca Turnpike, Canastota
